Writing within Fantasy Fiction

About

Hey there, welcome to my page. My name is Berenal and I've been a writer in the realm of fantasy since I was young. I've always been enthralled by the whole concept of wizards fighting dragons and the traditional D&D style of universes. I've been putting out fantasy writing and homebrew systems since I was roughly seventeen; having brushed these up over the years to be the basis for entire campaigns run alongside my friends. The writing I've put with it and the lore and worldbuilding has accumulated over a thousand pages on various subjects; with the interpersonal stories of characters as a mainstay of this writing.

I've got a degree in media and journalistic writing as well as minors in english with focus on prose and constructive narrative flow. As such, I've been looking to branch out and help bring other people's stories and ideas to life with the skills I've honed over the past years. I'm well versed in many existing fantasy genres such as any of the Blizzard-verse games, any IPs put out by Games Workshop, and numerous others. I'm comfortable writing within these universes as well as homebrew and unique settings.

Commissions

My commissions are laid out below in the various styles presented. I always attempt to ensure whatever I write is 'finished', as such if necessary I will go over the listed word counts. This comes at no charge to you, see them more as a guideline than an absolute limit:

Drabble: A short writing or description meant to convey a simple theme. Typically used as part of scene setting, a poem or small work of writing, or as a character descriptor. These are typically about 500-600 word count. For those in the roleplaying sphere, these are good for filling in character descriptions such as TRPs or Toyhou.se blurb profiles. 25$ Example of a Descriptive Drabble.

Short Story: As the name implies, this work would be a short creative writing. These themes can be discussed ahead of time as well as what you'd like explored. These are typically 1000-2000 word count stories depending on the themes and ideas provided. 45$ Example of a Short Story.

Mid-length Story: A more detailed work that goes through one or more elaborated plot points, with an A plot and B plot; or one significantly detailed A plot. Good for multiple characters as well as when setting up backstory or chapters of a tale. These are typically 2500-3750 word count stories. 65$ Example of a Mid-length Story.

Long Story: A much longer work that typically goes into several elaborated plot points; not well suited for one single plotline that is meant to be explored in one sitting. These works usually involve a significant structural flow and are suited for beginnings, endings, or major elements of a character arc / storyline. These are typically 4000-5500 word count stories. 85$ Example of a Long Story.

For longer narrative works, we can discuss a price point. I am more than willing to continue off of previous work I have written, akin to chapters of a book. These can be discussed with me at any time over DMs or emails.
All works come with up to two major revisions. Small revisions, such as change of dialogue in specific sentences, come free of charge. Additional major revisions will need to be discussed and additional small payment may be required.
NSFW content is something I am comfortable writing; though stories that exhibit heavy notes of this will not be posted publicly.
